Accredited BD Trainer, UKCC Level 3, Trainee Judge
Liz has been a dressage rider since the age of 10, joined BYRDS at the age of 12, and became the very first BD apprentice with Dane Rawlins and examined by Richard Davison.
From those early beginnings, Liz has worked tirelessly to become a successful rider, trainer, breeder and producer of dressage horses, and now uses this complete experience to motivate others, inspiring both horse and rider to fulfil their goals and achieve their own success.
Liz has competed at both regional and national events; participating regionally twice a year since 2005, with success at the PSG regional champion on Knight Time in 2011 and 2013. Additionally Liz has competed in the gala evenings at the nationals at Hartpury, both at PSG and Inter 1 on several occasions. Liz has trained numerous clients from novices to PSG and has helped them qualify for regionals and other championships.
She has a wealth of experience and knowledge and has had many successes with producing and quietly bringing on young horses.
Her ability to help others has derived from a solid training foundation having been trained by some of the best in the business, namely Dane Rawlins, Serena Pincus, Ferdi Eilberg, Isobel Wessols and currently Michael Eilberg.
Liz can provide individual structured training programmes, short term intensive help for encountered problems or longer term stops for schooling or competing.
Professional national hunt trainer
Having been around horses throughout his childhood, Max worked part-time at Worcester Racecourse whilst studying at the University of Worcester. Such was the enjoyment and experience of working with top class race horses and additionally riding out and training point-to-point horses, after his graduation in 2012 Max choose to work full-time with horses.
He first moved to the Brecon Beacons where he spent a year in Wales breaking horses and helping to run a commercial stable. Since moving back to Worcester, Max has added retraining and riding out in point-to-point yards to his horse breaking skills and experience.
Max now has substantial experience and success breaking and riding all types of horses, including dressage horses by Woodlander Rockstar, Jazz, and Keystone Dimaggio to name a few.
More recently max has been granted a professional license to train after several successful seasons in the point to point field. Although he dedicates the majority of his time to training his string of horses, he is still very much involved and here to assist whenever needed.
Jack is a key member of the team here. Although only 14, Jack’s ambition is to be a professional jockey. However, he keeps his eye in riding and schooling the horses and ponies, and thoroughly enjoys taking them cross country and showjumping.
